Croker Island Exodus

Croker Island Exodus tracks the journey made by 95 Aboriginal children and their missionary carers who were trapped on Croker Island after the bombing of Darwin in World War 2. Colourist Peter Pilley accentuates the tones and hues of the Australian outback to evoke the memories of the now elderly children who made the incredible journey. Croker Island Exodus premiered on ABC1 in 2012 and was included in the 2012 editions of Sydney International Film Festival and Melbourne International Film Festival.
