Blue Post has a long history in film and television and our work is screened around the world by major broadcasters. We work with producers in devising the most appropriate workflow, then plan, schedule and deliver projects in all formats to world’s best practice.
We provide backup and rushes transfers for data-centric workflows, offline editing equipment, visual effects planning and implementation, online editing, colour grading and delivery on all formats from DCP to the web.
Formed in 2003 by producer and post supervisor Peter Millington and editor Peter Carrodus, the company saw an opportunity to utilise emerging digital technologies to build a post-house that was focused on the requirements of longform producers. Peter Millington has been designing and implementing post-production workflows since the introduction of non-linear editing systems in the mid 90’s. Previously a producer and post-production supervisor, he understands the stringent technical demands placed on completed projects while appreciating the need to lower costs.
As an editor at Channels Seven and Nine and later as the post supervisor and line producer of shows such as The Secret Life of Us, Wilfred and Bed of Roses, Peter has been responsible for delivery of hundreds of programs to international standards.
Peter Carrodus, ASE, has edited more than 250 hours of film and Television in a career spanning thirty years. As an award winning editor he has worked with many of the countries leading Producers and Directors and knows the importance of quality of service,reliability and creativity in a post facility.
His credits include feature films Charlie and Boots, The Big Steal, The Heartbreak Kid, Bad Eggs,Mr Reliable ,The Wannabes and Strange Bedfellows along with television series Offspring, Tangle,Underbelly, Rush, Satisfaction, Halifax, Winners & Losers,Good Guys/Bad Guys, Stingers, The Secret Life of Us, Round the Twist and Conspiracy 365.
